Mark Laudi is an award-winning journalist and broadcaster best known for reporting live from the floor of the Singapore Exchange on CNBC Asia. Working alongside well-known Singapore television personalities such as Martin Soong and Christine Tan on Squawk Box and Market Watch, he developed a reputation for fast, accurate and energetic reports on SGX-listed stocks that redefined the role of stockwatcher.

Since then, he has focused on producing investment news under the brand Investor Central. Syndication partners include StarHub, ThomsonReuters, SIAS and many others.

His company, Hong Bao Media, also develops meaningful, credible content for financial services institutions and other organisations wishing to reach out directly to their target audiences.

Mark has lived in Singapore since 1997. He joined the Radio Corporation of Singapore (now MediaCorp Radio) to help develop and launch NewsRadio 93.8 (now 938LIVE).

He made the switch to television in 1999 when he joined CNBC Asia Pacific and held almost every position in the newsroom, including producer and Australia Editor, and in front of the camera as stockwatcher, anchor and reporter.

A graduate from Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Mark became Australia’s youngest current affairs show host with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s regional radio network.

At age 28, Mark launched CNBC Australia in Sydney as Bureau Chief.
